Russia vs Slovenia flag
How to tell them apart
The flags of Russia and Slovenia are both horizontal tricolours of white, blue and red, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Slovenia adds a small shield in the upper hoist; Russia's flag is plain.
- The shield, white Mount Triglav under three gold stars, sits across the white and blue bands.
- Slovenia's flag is longer: 1:2, against Russia's 2:3.
