How to tell them apart
The flags of Norway and Sweden are both Nordic crosses, with the upright set towards the hoist, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Norway has a red field with a white-edged blue cross; Sweden has a blue field with a yellow cross.
- Norway uses three colours, Sweden two.
