Tell them apart
Moldova vs Chad flag
How to tell them apart
The flags of Moldova and Chad are both vertical tricolours of blue, yellow and red, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Moldova has its coat of arms, an eagle holding a cross in its beak, in the yellow band; Chad's flag is plain.
- Moldova's flag is longer: 1:2, against Chad's 2:3.
- Chad's blue is a much darker indigo than Moldova's.
