Tell them apart
India vs Niger flag
How to tell them apart
The flags of India and Niger are both orange, white and green bands with a round emblem in the centre, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- India's centre is a navy blue wheel with 24 spokes, the Ashoka Chakra; Niger's is a plain orange disc.
- Niger's flag is almost square at 6:7; India's is 2:3.
- Niger's top band is a deeper orange than India's saffron.
