How to tell them apart
The flags of Finland and Sweden are both Nordic crosses, with the upright set towards the hoist, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Finland is a blue cross on white; Sweden is a yellow cross on blue.
- Of the five Nordic countries, only Sweden has yellow in its flag.
