Tell them apart
Finland vs Iceland flag
How to tell them apart
The flags of Finland and Iceland are both Nordic crosses, with the upright set towards the hoist, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Finland is a blue cross on a white field; Iceland is a red cross edged in white on a blue field.
- Finland has no red at all.
