How to tell them apart
The flags of Denmark and Norway are both Nordic crosses, with the upright set towards the hoist, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Norway's white cross has a narrower blue cross inside it; Denmark's cross is plain white.
- So Norway shows three colours (red, white and blue) and Denmark only two.
