How to tell them apart
The flags of Denmark and Finland are both Nordic crosses, with the upright set towards the hoist, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Denmark is a white cross on red; Finland is a blue cross on white.
- There is no red anywhere on Finland's flag.
