Tell them apart
Cameroon vs Guinea flag
How to tell them apart
The flags of Cameroon and Guinea are both pan-African vertical tricolours of green, yellow and red, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Cameroon runs green, red, yellow from the hoist; Guinea runs red, yellow, green.
- Cameroon has a yellow star in its red centre band; Guinea's flag is plain.
