How to tell them apart
The flags of Andorra and Romania are both vertical tricolours of blue, yellow and red, so they’re easy to mix up at a glance. This is what gives each one away:
- Andorra has a coat of arms in the centre of the yellow band; Romania's flag is plain.
- Andorra's yellow band is wider than its blue and red bands; Romania's three bands are equal.
- Andorra's flag is slightly squarer: 7:10, against Romania's 2:3.
